Having just completed 1,000 Litholapaxies, I venture to submit a short account of the operation, its difficulties, its complications and its results. There are few places in India which offer greater opportunities for the performance of this operation than Hyderabad in Sind. And this fact leads me to discuss very briefly why vesical calculi should be so 'prevalent in this district.
